Strategic bussines plan adopted by Free Zone Assembly

Free Zone Duro Dakovic-Slavonski Brod has achieved all goals in six years of doing business and became one of the leading free zones in Croatia. It is rating of international group of consultants in CARDS project, within support of Ministry of Economy, Labour and Entrepreneurship. They have analised all 14 free zones in Croatia and on that base they made Strategic plan for their long-term development.

In the scope of these activities, after detailed analysis of existing situation and getting information about future perspective, in cooperation with free zones management they have been developed strategic business plans for chosen free zones.

Strategic business plan for Free Zone Duro Dakovic-Slavonski Brod was presented and adopted by Partnership group and Assembly of Free Zone during first half of this year. Pilot project is in procedure right now, which purpose is plan implementation and assurance of resources.

Key facts for future development of Free Zone are improving and upgrading existing infrastructure, widening range and level of services, recruitment in human resources, and attracting new free zone users what is major objective of this company.

In transport and energetic sense Free Zone is part of Industrial zone Duro Dakovic, so devolopment and construction of infrastructure have to be solved together. Free Zone by her self plans to invest in trans-shipment space, improvement of main entry and parking place as well as taking over available capacities for attracting new investors.

Over 60.000 m2 is available for new investors in Free Zone also there are other parts of industrial zone out of Free Zone but can be, if investors were intrested. There is possible extension of Free Zone in Industiral zone Bjelis, and area of new river port Brod.
